On 25 July, a 36‑year‑old motorcyclist and his 30‑year‑old passenger were killed after the rider entered a roundabout near Oradea at an inappropriate speed, lost control, and struck both inner and outer curbs, overturning the bike. Police confirmed both victims died at the scene and opened a criminal case for traffic violations. Six people, including two children, were injured in Mica; a collision on DJ 703A in Argeș left one passenger dead and two injured; three‑vehicle crashes in Olt and Vrancea caused multiple ~~investigations, traffic disruptions~~ injuries, including children. Additional incidents in Constanța, Timișoara and ~~renewed~~ Bosanci resulted in further injuries, with all drivers testing negative for alcohol. Police investigations and criminal charges for reckless driving are ongoing in each case.
