While media speculation had previously suggested that security concerns in the Black Sea region or diplomatic pressure from the UK or Spain might force relocate the contest to move to Sofia or another country, officials and Sofia, Bulgarian National Television (BNT) and officials have denied these claims, stating maintaining that preparations are proceeding according to plan.
