Preparations for the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest involve various national selection processes across Europe. In Estonia, the broadcaster ERR reported receiving 155 song entries for the Eesti Laul 2027 competition. The submissions include 60 songs in Estonian and 95 in foreign languages. The selection process will culminate in a final on January 30 at the Unibet Arena in Tallinn, featuring twelve songs chosen through jury and televoting. In Luxembourg, the Luxembourg Song Contest has moved to the next stage of its selection process after evaluating 80 applicants through in-person auditions. A jury selected 12 artists—including Debbie M, Layso Roy, Maya Maunet, Hugo One, Gaïa, Clement Lerat, Patricia Venâncio, Perrine Thomas, Marco Misolic, Jaya, Carmen, and Luisa KIM—to participate in pairing workshops. These workshops aim to match shortlisted artists with specific compositions. The window for submitting new compositions remains open until October 29. In Sweden, broadcaster SVT has received a record 4,077 entries for Melodifestivalen 2027. While official participants have not been confirmed, media reports have circulated rumors regarding potential artists such as Imenella, Ulrik Munther, and Kevin Walker. In Denmark, the submission window for Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2027 has closed. Following the deadline, eight songs will be selected to compete in the national final, which is scheduled for February 13, 2027, at the Sydbank Arena in Kolding.
