Following its July 2026 capital raise and management reshuffle, EV Resources Limited has moved forward with the Tecomatlán antimony processing project. In early August, the company’s Mexican subsidiary, Stibcorp, signed a binding five‑year five-year ore supply agreement with Lucero Grupo Minero de Puebla, securing high‑grade high-grade antimony ore from the Chinantla mine located just 8 km from the plant. To initiate the first proof-of-concept processing campaign, Stibcorp has secured 200 dry tonnes of high-grade ore featuring grades of 13–16% antimony. This material is currently stockpiled near the facility, with haulage expected to commence within two weeks. The campaign aims to demonstrate the company’s commercial cycle of purchasing regional ore, processing it through its own facility, and producing a marketable concentrate. Metallurgical tests on similar material previously confirmed an 81.1 % 81.1% antimony recovery and a 42.4 % 42.4% concentrate grade, supporting the proof‑of‑concept campaign. An initial 200‑tonne stockpile has been acquired with potential to feed upgrade the upcoming trial run, and plant commissioning is nearing completion. concentrate to 62.9% antimony. Executive Chairman Shane Menere highlighted stated the deal as a key milestone in building campaign is designed to establish real operating data and demonstrate a non‑Chinese antimony supply chain, aligning “regional hub model” intended to serve miners across Puebla, Oaxaca, and Guerrero. The project aligns with growing demand for non-Chinese antimony supply chains driven by export restrictions and critical‑mineral critical-mineral designations in the United States, Europe Europe, and Australia.
