During this meeting, the committee unanimously elected Jibril Rajoub as Secretary and appointed Dr. Laila Ghannam to the Commission for Development and Empowerment. The committee also addressed Israeli military actions in the West Bank and Jerusalem, calling for international mobilization to support Palestinian rights and statehood.
