A series of fatal motorcycle accidents has been reported in different districts of Istanbul. On August 16, a 22-year-old Syrian national, Beşşar Al Tawıl, died from a brain hemorrhage following a collision with a motorcycle in the Esenyurt district. The accident occurred on August 1, and the driver fled the scene. The victim’s family raised concerns regarding the medical response, alleging he was unreachable for two days following the incident. Later in August, a second fatal accident occurred in the Şile district on the Darlık Yolu road. A 30-year-old motorcyclist, Yıldırım Ersan, lost control while navigating a sharp curve at high speed and died at Şile State Hospital. This incident followed another fatal crash on the same stretch of road on August 17, involving 21-year-old Ceyda Yakova, who lost traction on gravel.
