Fatal stabbing of British national in Rosenheim

Overview

A 31-year-old British woman died following a stabbing at the Rosenheim railway station in Bavaria, Germany, in the early hours of a Sunday morning. Federal police arrested a 27-year-old German man of no fixed address shortly after the attack. He has since been placed in a psychiatric hospital on suspicion of murder while investigations continue.

The victim was identified as Rebecca Bullock, a pub manager from Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire, who was traveling to Austria to attend a friend’s funeral. The attack is believed to have been unprovoked.

In her home community, Bullock was described as a “beloved” and “kind” figure who managed the White Swan pub. She was noted for her extensive charity work, including fundraising for local children and supporting Ukrainian refugees. Floral tributes have been left at her place of work as locals mourn her death.
