A fatal traffic accident occurred in the Las Avenidas neighborhood of Mar del Plata at the intersection of Cerrito and Magallanes. The collision began when a Volkswagen Gol Trend struck a Toyota RAV4 from behind. The collision impact caused the Toyota to overturn lose control, roll over, and veer onto a mount the sidewalk, striking where it struck a group of people gathered standing in front of a warehouse local grocery store before embedding itself in crashing into a building. Of the six people those involved, 32-year-old 36-year-old Maximiliano Nahuel Vandecaveye died at the Hospital Interzonal General de Agudos (HIGA). Other victims included (HIGA) due to severe internal injuries and crushing trauma. Five other people were injured, including a 17-year-old and a 30-year-old, among others suffering from fractures men aged 18, 21, 30, and multiple traumas. Four injured individuals were subsequently discharged. 38. The two 21-year-old drivers were uninjured and tested negative for alcohol. Scientific Police are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
