Fábio Porchat comedy tour in Portugal and Brazil

Overview

The comedy production ‘Agora é que são Elas’, written and directed by Fábio Porchat, has launched a tour across Portugal and Brazil. Following a successful 2025 run, the production returned to Portugal in September 2026, beginning at the Teatro Tivoli in Lisbon with scheduled stops in cities such as Setúbal, Porto, Braga, and Águeda.

The play features actresses Júlia Rabello, Maria Clara Gueiros, and Priscila Castello Branco, who portray approximately 20 different characters through nine sketches. The performance utilizes rapid dialogue and on-stage transformations to explore everyday situations and relationships.

In October 2026, the tour continued in Brazil with performances at the Sala Nelson Pereira dos Santos in Niterói. The production incorporates a mix of recent scripts and older texts written by Porchat in 2004 and 2005, which the production notes “remain relevant to contemporary 2020s behavior.” Featured sketches include ‘Superstição’, involving a superstitious friend and a skeptic, and ‘Selfie’, depicting an encounter between a famous actress and a fan.
