FC Red Bull Salzburg secured a 4-1 victory against Austria Wien in the fifth round of the Admiral Bundesliga. After an early own goal by Lee Kang-hee, Salzburg extended their lead through goals from Haris Tabakovic and Bartosz Mazurek. Although Manfred Fischer scored for Austria Wien shortly after halftime, Yorbe Vertessen restored the three-goal lead in the 55th minute to finalize the score.
