The musical and cultural programming for the 2026 Fiestas del Pilar celebrations has been detailed for Zaragoza and Pedrola. In Zaragoza, the festivities are scheduled from October 10 to October 18 under the theme ‘Este Pilar, te vas a emocionar’. The program includes a proclamation celebrating Zaragoza’s status as the 2027 European Capital of Sport, using the slogan ‘Zaragoza Campeona’, as well as parades, fireworks, and street theater. Musical lineups feature various artists across multiple venues: Antonio Orozco, Dani Fernández, and Malú at Escenario Ambar; Myke Towers, Ana Mena, and Love of Lesbian at Espacio Zity; and La Oreja de Van Gogh, Sergio Dalma, and Camela at Pabellón Príncipe Felipe. Other scheduled performers include Teenage Fanclub and The Lemon Twigs. Logistical details have been released regarding the Ofrenda de Flores, including historical context, scheduled routes, and access points. Due to the celebrations, local transportation will face disruptions on October 12, including bus diversions and changes to tram services. Additionally, light and sound shows are scheduled for the Parque Grande. As the festivities conclude, Zaragoza is hosting a three-day exhibition of the Spanish national team's FIFA World Cup trophy as part of the ‘Reyes del Mundo’ tour organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). The trophy will be displayed at the Zaragoza City Hall’s Reception Hall on October 18 and 19, with an immersive exhibition available via registration, and will be visible in the City Hall entrance hall on October 20. The final weekend of the celebrations includes the ‘Somos’ spectacle on October 18 and free musical performances across Plaza del Pilar, Estación del Norte, and Plaza Salamero. In Pedrola, musical events are set to take place in the municipal tent from October 8 to October 12, featuring Bimba y Lolo, a Jota festival, and various orchestras and DJ sessions.
