As the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco approaches, national teams are finalizing their rosters. Canada has named Brooklyn Boldt, a forward from the Vancouver Rise Academy, to its squad. Boldt previously represented the country at the 4 Nations Cup and holds a league record for goals scored. Brazil has announced its 26-player squad under coach Rilany Silva. The team, which qualified by winning the South American U-17 Championship, features players from various Brazilian clubs and international teams. The squad has been training at Granja Comary in Teresópolis since late September and is scheduled to depart this Sunday for the tournament, which runs from October 17 to November 7. The roster includes a significant presence from São Paulo-based clubs, specifically six players each from Corinthians, São Paulo, and Ferroviária, alongside players from Internacional, Flamengo, and international clubs such as Wichita (USA) and Nordsjelland (Denmark). Notable inclusions in the squad include 16-year-old striker Sofia Gamonal from São Paulo. Brazil is placed in Group C alongside Canada, Norway, and Ghana. The team is scheduled to open its campaign on October 18 against Canada at the Mohammed VI Football Academy in Salé. Following that, Brazil will face Ghana on October 21 and Norway on October 24.
