The Fighting Illini Invitational, a collegiate men’s golf tournament, was held at the Olympia Fields Country Club in Illinois. Due to renovations on the North Course, the competition took place on the South Course. While originally scheduled as a three-day, 54-hole event, inclement weather in the Chicago area forced the tournament to be condensed into two days. Arizona State ~~won~~ claimed the team ~~title,~~ title with a score of 40-under par, finishing two shots ahead of the host, Illinois. ~~Other notable performances included~~ Alabama finished in fourth place at 38-under par, featuring top-10 finishes from Miles Eubanks and William Jennings.
