In late July 2026, ACF Fiorentina began marking its 100-year anniversary, unveiling a commemorative stamp and announcing a programme of events including a “Legends” match and a centenary coin. On 28 August, festivities at the Stadio Artemio Franchi included appearances by legends such as Gabriel Batistuta and Rui Costa, though celebrations were overshadowed by a 3-0 home defeat against Frosinone. On 2 September, the club held its scheduled “Legends” match, where a Fiorentina All Stars team defeated the Operazione Nostalgia Legends 7-3.
