The FIP Gold Mediolanum Padel Cup, a high-level tournament sanctioned by the International Padel Federation, is scheduled to be held at multiple locations in Italy. In Grugliasco, the event is set to take place at the Palavillage from October 26 to November 1, 2026. This tournament represents an upgrade from the previous year’s FIP Silver category to a Gold-level event on the CUPRA FIP Tour. It features a 50,000 euro prize pool and 150 ranking points, with over 250 athletes expected to compete. Additionally, the tournament is scheduled to be held in Perugia at the Padel Arena from September 30 to October 4. Recognized as the third most important event in Italy, the Perugia competition includes over 100 players from 10 countries, including several athletes ranked in the global top 30. The event features prominent international players such as Alex Chozas, Sanyo Gutierrez, and Carolina Orsi. As of late September 2026, the Perugia leg of the tournament is underway at the Padel Arena Fastweb. The men’s bracket includes top seeds such as Brazil’s Lucas Bergamini and Spain’s Jairo Bautista, the latter of whom defeated Italian players Lorenzo Di Giovanni and Giuseppe Fino. The competition also highlights NextGen talent, including Italian players Noa Bonnefoy and Michele Brambilla. In the women’s division, prominent athletes like Carolina Orsi are competing alongside rising local talent Matilde Minelli. The event maintains a €50,000 prize pool and 150 ranking points.
