Italian tennis player Flavio Cobolli has been selected to represent Team Europe in the 2026 Laver Cup at London’s O2 Arena. The ninth edition of the tournament is scheduled to take place from September 25 to 27. Under the competition format, teams compete to reach 13 points across three days of matches, with points increasing in value each day: 1 point for matches on the first day, 2 points on the second, and 3 points on the final day. In the event of a 12-12 tie, a decisive ~~singles or~~ single-set doubles match will determine the winner. Team Europe is led by captain Yannick Noah and includes players such as Alcaraz, Zverev, Casper Ruud, Cobolli, Jakub Mensik, and Rafael Jodar. Team World is captained by Andre Agassi and features Alex de Minaur, Taylor Fritz, Brandon Nakashima, Learner Tien, Alexander Bublik, and Francisco Cerundolo. In preparation for the event, the ‘RF Room’ was inaugurated at the O2 Arena to honor Roger Federer’s connection to the venue. The room features 45 tennis rackets, representing his 45 appearances at the arena.
