The Foo Fighters have announced the South American leg of their ‘Take Cover Tour’ in early 2027, supporting their 2026 album ‘Your Favorite Toy’. The tour follows a stadium show in Toronto on 4 August 2026, which featured the band’s first recording with drummer Ilan Rubin following the death of Taylor Hawkins. In Brazil, the band will perform at Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte on 18 February 2027, followed by a show at Estádio MorumBIS in São Paulo on 20 February. Opening acts for the Brazilian dates include Karen Dió and Deb and the Mentals. Santander client pre-sales are scheduled for 18 and 19 August 2026, with general sales opening on 20 August via Ticketmaster. The band is also scheduled to headline Rock in Rio in September 2026. The tour includes dates in Uruguay (23 Feb) at Estadio Centenario, Argentina (25 Feb) at Estadio River Plate, Chile (28 Feb) at Parque Estadio Nacional, and Peru (3 Mar) at Estadio San Marcos. The Argentine shows are expected to feature local bands Usted Señálemelo and Pacífica. In Chile, Pacífica, while the opening slot is confirmed for Chile date features the rock group Adelaida. The Peru date marks the band’s inaugural concert in the country, featuring local acts Cometa a la Deriva and Lucy Pérez. Ticket sales for the Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Argentina and Peru dates Chile involve various pre-sale windows starting in mid-August 2026 2026. In Argentina, bank client pre-sales began on 11 August, with general sales on 12 August via platforms such as All Access Access.
