In Aden, security and administrative entities have faced significant challenges regarding food security and resource allocation. In late July 2026, the Aden Security Administration issued a 72-hour deadline to officials, including Interior Minister Ibrahim Haidan, warning that unpaid food allowances for over 1,400 security personnel and prisoners could lead to a halt in meal deliveries. The administration cited accumulated debts for food, operations, and fuel support spanning from late 2025 through July 2026.
