Ford has introduced updates and new special editions to its Ranger pickup truck lineup across different global markets. At the 2026 Paris Motor Show, Ford unveiled the Ranger MS-RT Champion Edition, a limited production run of 500 units for Europe. Developed with M-Sport Road Technology, the vehicle features an Agate Black exterior with gold accents, widened fenders, and a lowered suspension. It is offered with either a 3.0-liter EcoBlue V6 turbodiesel or a 2.3-liter EcoBoost Plug-in-Hybrid engine. This special sports edition, developed in collaboration with the British racing company M-Sport, is designed with a street-racing focus. Mechanical enhancements include a suspension lowered by 40 mm, firmer shock absorbers, and thinner rear springs to improve handling. The aesthetic upgrades include 21-inch gold-finished wheels and gold decorative lines on the hood, sides, and mirrors. The exterior is further enhanced by aggressive bumpers, a honeycomb grille, side steps, and aerodynamic elements such as a rear diffuser and spoilers inspired by rally heritage. Sales for this series are expected to begin in the spring of 2027. Following these developments, Ford expanded its regional offerings. In the United Kingdom, the MS-RT Champion Edition was introduced through Ford Pro and M-Sport. Meanwhile, in Australia, the 2027 Ranger lineup includes the reintroduction of the Wildtrak X model, which will now feature a V6 engine option.
