The Formula Student Alpe Adria 2026 competition is scheduled to take place from August 18 to 23 at the Bugatti Rimac test track in Mičevac, Croatia. The event is expected to host a record 94 engineering teams from approximately 24 countries, involving more than 2,500 participants. Competitors will participate in several disciplines, including Acceleration, Skid Pad, Autocross, and Endurance. The Split-based FESB Racing Team is transitioning from internal combustion engines to its first electric vehicle, while the Rijeka-based Riteh Racing Team is participating as an alumni team with an 80 kW electric single-seater weighing approximately 230 kilograms. The event also highlights a growing trend of female participation in motorsport, with increasing numbers of women involved in vehicle development, aerodynamics, and team organization.
