Epic Games first announced on 26 July 2026 that the Springfield Island map from *The Simpsons* would return to Fortnite as “Springfield Reloaded” on 30 July. The map was adapted for the faster Battle Royale Reload mode, supporting up to 80 players and featuring iconic locations such as the Simpsons' house, Moe’s Tavern, the nuclear power plant and the Duff Blimp battle bus.
