Microsoft and Playground Games have officially announced that Forza Horizon 6 will launch on PlayStation 5 on January 26, 2027. This release follows the game’s initial debut on Xbox Series X|S and PC in May 2026. Set in Japan, the game features an open world encompassing Tokyo, rural landscapes, and mountain roads, with a vehicle roster of over 550 cars. Developed in partnership with Panic Button and Turn 10 Studios, the PS5 version will offer 4K/30FPS Quality Mode and 60FPS Performance Mode. The title will support cross-platform play and cross-save functionality with Xbox and Steam, alongside access to user-generated content. Three editions have been confirmed: Standard, Deluxe, and Premium. The Standard Edition is priced at approximately €69.99. The Deluxe Edition includes the Welcome Pack and Car Pass, while the Premium Edition provides five days of early access beginning January 21, which coincides with the release of the first Premium Expansion DLC. The Premium Edition also includes a VIP membership and additional car packs. Players who pre-order any edition will receive a pre-configured Ferrari J50. A physical disc version will also be available at launch, and pre-orders for all editions are now available on the PlayStation Store.
