French media presenter and programming changes

French media outlets are undergoing various presenter and programming shifts. On France 3, the program ‘Samedi d’en rire’ has moved forward without Jean-Luc Lemoine following his seven-season tenure. Lemoine expressed frustration at learning about his dismissal through the media rather than directly from France Télévisions. His successor, Bernard Montiel, has faced criticism from former columnist Marc Toesca, who characterized Montiel as a ‘flavorless courtier’ and suggested his appointment was influenced by a friendship with Brigitte Macron; Montiel has dismissed these claims as ‘fake news.’ Additionally, Yoann Riou has departed the show in solidarity with Lemoine, and reports suggest Lemoine may potentially join Cyril Hanouna on the W9 network.

Other presenters are experiencing similar sudden departures. Camille Cerf reportedly learned of her exit from the program ‘Mot de Passe: Le Duel’ via press reports, mirroring Lemoine’s experience.

At the radio station RTL, Flavie Flament is launching a new weekend program, ‘Satisfait ou remboursé,’ with Olivier Dauvers. This new show, which focuses on consumer purchasing power and product testing, replaces Flament’s previous health-oriented program with Dr. Jimmy Mohamed. The transition follows controversy regarding allegations of domestic violence against Mohamed, which he has denied.
