French Pro D2 rugby competition

Recent developments in the French Pro D2 rugby division highlight various team performances and standings.

Racing Club Narbonnais secured a victory against SA XV Charente, utilizing an offensive strategy led by playmakers Lubabalo Dobela and Thibault Santoro to exploit defensive gaps. Following the match, SA XV manager Alexandre Ruiz described Narbonne’s style as “opportunistic and interesting.”

In other divisional action, Nissa Rugby secured a 32-17 win against Nevers, which served as a momentum builder after a period of inconsistent results. Nissa Rugby is now preparing to face undefeated second-place Provence Rugby, a perennial contender for promotion to the Top 14.

In subsequent fixtures, Provence Rugby maintained their strong form with a 34-24 victory over Nissa Rugby in a South derby, despite Nissa playing with a numerical advantage for part of the second half. Agen also secured a dominant 38-7 win against Nevers, capitalizing on a period of numerical superiority.

Elsewhere in the division, SA XV Charente secured a draw against Biarritz Olympique in a closely contested match, while Colomiers Rugby prepares to host Racing Club Narbonnais in an attempt to rebound from recent performances.
