FSHF football infrastructure project in Presheva Valley
Overview
The Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) has launched an initiative to construct two modern football pitches in the Presheva Valley, specifically within the municipalities of Presevo and Bujanoc. The project aims to provide safe, FIFA-standard sporting environments for Albanian youth in a region where previous infrastructure was described as being at an “unsatisfactory level”.
The construction effort is supported by a donation from the Türker family, who are the first donors to contribute to the project. While the FSHF will finance the pitch bases, artificial turf, and goals, the local municipalities are expected to play a role in the development.
In a related development, the FSHF has also resumed training sessions for the U-17 women’s national team as part of its ‘Step by Step’ project to prepare for the second round of the U-17 European Championship.
