Overview
Brazzaville has faced significant fuel shortages, resulting in long queues at service stations and disruptions for taxi and motorcycle-taxi drivers. Despite being a crude oil producer and an OPEC member, the country continues to face a paradox where it must import refined products because domestic refining capacity, hampered by aging infrastructure and technical shutdowns at Coraf, remains insufficient.
