Audi Formula 1 driver Gabriel Bortoleto has transitioned from discussing the personal and familial sacrifices required for his motorsport career to taking on technical roles within the sport. Following a performance at the Spanish Grand Prix where he supported teammate Nico Hülkenberg, Bortoleto has begun assisting Pirelli with tire development. According to Allan McNish, Bortoleto is testing long-duration tire compounds to determine their ability to withstand two race distances.
