Games of Will eighth season premieres on NOVA

The eighth season of the reality competition show ‘Games of Will’ has premiered on NOVA, utilizing an ‘All Stars’ format. Set in Durankulak, the production involves twenty-four contestants divided into four teams competing for control over three territories. Producer Vitomir Saraiyanov highlighted the large-scale production, which employs a crew of 200 people and utilizes three battle arenas and six living locations.

The cast features a diverse group of professionals—including engineers, accountants, and a millionaire—alongside various athletes such as Olympic judoka Toma Nikiforov and psychologist Kristina Vutova. The show is hosted by Pavel Nikolov and Olympic athlete Ivet Lalova-Colio.

A specific team element titled ‘LactoFlor - Battle of the Stars’ has been introduced, featuring twenty-four former participants, including six medalists such as winners Miroslav Velikov, Martin Kanev, Ivan Ralev, Alexa Erski, Andrey Gridin, and Svetlin Mitev. These participants compete in mixed-gender pairs for a €20,000 prize.

In the opening matches of this segment, the duo of Vanya Zapryanova and Svetlin Mitev defeated Georgi Geshev and Radostina Radeva following a last-minute turnaround. Geshev and Radeva became the first pair eliminated from the competition. Other competing pairs include Teodor-Chikagoto and Alexandra Feigin, Dr. Katrin Pekin and Miroslav Velikov, Andrey Gridin and Angela Kostadinova, and Nikolay Nachev-Dino and Tsveti Staneva. The segment also features former rivals Polina Pelipenko and Radu Shulyak.
