gamescom latam 2027 preparations in São Paulo

Overview

Preparations for the 2027 edition of gamescom latam in São Paulo have commenced, with the event scheduled for April 22 to 25 at Distrito Anhembi. The 2027 festival will mark the 15th anniversary of the gamescom latam BIG Festival, a global competition for independent games. Registration for the BIG Festival opened in early October, allowing industry professionals to submit proposals for lectures and content.

Further developments for the 2027 event include the integration of the 10th anniversary of the Prêmio Esports Brasil (PEB). To increase industry visibility, the PEB ceremony will move from its traditional December timing to the April festival, featuring a red carpet for athletes, streamers, and content creators. Additionally, organizers announced ‘Encontros de Fandoms’ (Fandom Meetings), a new initiative designed to provide dedicated spaces for communities such as card and board game enthusiasts to interact.
