Geopolitical conflict predictions involving Iran

Commentators have issued various predictions regarding potential escalations involving the United States and Iran.

Jiang Xueqin has suggested that a U.S. ground invasion of Iran could occur by 2027, potentially leading to a war lasting ten to twenty years. This scenario may involve the reintroduction of mandatory military service for 18-year-olds in the United States.

Separately, researcher John Hogue, described as ‘America’s Nostradamus’, has predicted that a third world war could be triggered by 2028. He identifies Iran as a flashpoint, suggesting the United States might conduct nuclear strikes against Iranian underground facilities. Hogue notes that Donald Trump is “50-50 about going ahead with a nuclear strike on Iran.” Such actions could lead to global retaliation, including Iranian missile attacks and North Korean drone strikes against American warships in the Arabian Sea.

Hogue, who bases his warnings on interpretations of the 16th-century astrologer Nostradamus, further suggests that as Western and American conventional weapon stockpiles are exhausted, the risk of utilizing tactical and strategic nuclear weapons increases.

In a recent interview with The Sun, Hogue expanded on these warnings, suggesting the United States could face a collapse of its imperial power by September 11, 2028, due to economic instability, inflation, fuel shortages, and national debt. He reiterated the “50/50 chance” of a U.S. nuclear strike against Iranian targets, such as Mount Pickaxe. Furthermore, Hogue claims the death of a figure he identifies as ‘Mabus’—an anagram he believes refers to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman—could initiate a 27-year war, devastating West Asian energy industries and breaking down relations between NATO and Russia.
