German law enforcement agencies have conducted multiple operations involving border controls and customs inspections. At the A93 border crossing near Kiefersfelden, Federal Police identified approximately 20 individuals attempting to enter Germany with forged documents or without required paperwork. Arrests included a Lithuanian man wanted for economic crimes and an Iraqi national facing driving penalties. Officers also intercepted individuals using falsified Romanian and Spanish identification documents. Additionally, customs officials at Munich Airport seized 130 cartons of cigarettes from an individual attempting to bypass declarations. In the Freilassing region, Federal Police reported approximately 30 findings between August 13 and August 16. These enforcement actions included illegal entries, drug offenses involving cannabis and amphetamines, and weapons law violations, such as the discovery of a stun gun disguised as a flashlight and unmarked irritant spray. At the Schwarzbach-Autobahn border crossing, officers detained a French national suspected of human smuggling and weapons violations while he was allegedly transporting two Turkish nationals from Austria to France; a baton was also discovered in the vehicle. On September 8, during border controls at the A8 crossing in Bad Reichenhall, German federal police arrested a 35-year-old Turkish national traveling on a Bulgarian bus. The individual had an outstanding arrest warrant from the Siegen prosecutor's office involving charges of rape, aggravated bodily harm, arson, theft, coercion, and intentional bodily harm, with 668 days remaining on his sentence.
