German media coverage of Anna-Carina Woitschack
Overview
German singer Anna-Carina Woitschack has addressed the psychological pressures of public scrutiny and the conclusion of the long-running television program ‘Immer wieder sonntags’. Woitschack, who recently won ‘Dancing Star 2026’, noted that constant public categorization can be damaging to celebrities, particularly those with low self-esteem. She also commented on the upcoming cancellation of ‘Immer wieder sonntags’, a Schlager show that has aired for over 30 years and was hosted by her former husband, Stefan Mross. The program is scheduled to end following its current season.
During a children’s day event in Berlin, Woitschack shared personal aspirations regarding her future, stating that while she is currently single, she hopes to have two children one day with a partner. Following her victory on the 19th season of ‘Let’s Dance’ alongside partner Evgeny Vinokurov, Woitschack indicated she is becoming more selective with television appearances, expressing a lack of interest in reality formats like ‘Das Sommerhaus der Stars’ because she feels ‘too normal’ for such shows.
During an anniversary concert in Dessau-Roßlau, the 33-year-old singer publicly announced a new relationship. After an unidentified man approached her on stage with a bouquet of red roses and kissed her, Woitschack told the audience, ‘Now it is out! You are the first! I am very, very happy again!’ While she has shared romantic content on Instagram with captions such as ‘happygirl’ and ‘inlove’, she has chosen to keep the identity of her partner private, noting he is not a public figure.
