Traditional German shooting festivals (Schützenfeste) are being held continue across various regions in Germany. In Helmeringhausen and Grevenbroich, preparations and schedules were established for upcoming festivities. In Helmeringhausen, the children's children’s festival involves a tradition of using wooden clubs to target a cracker shaped like a bird. In Grevenbroich, the local royal couple prepared for an extensive schedule of appointments during the multi-day celebration. In Isenbruch and Dorf Hervest, festivals have concluded with the crowning of new leaders. In Isenbruch, Dietmar Hermanns was crowned king following a competition of 1,280 shots, noted as the longest in the club’s 50-year history since its 1976 re-establishment. In Dorf Hervest, a children's festival saw Emil Keller named children's king and Rosa Stanicki were named children’s king and queen, respectively, during an event that also included the unveiling of a new king chain featuring medals dating back to 1950. Recent gatherings in the Sauerland region have focused on community engagement and historical recognition. In Belecke, former shooting kings met with the current monarch, David Willecke, at the local fire station to show appreciation for volunteer firefighters. The visit included a facility tour and virtual reality fire extinguishing training. In Scharnhorst, the Schützenverein Scharnhorst held its triennial competition for former monarchs. Jörg Oldenburg was named the 13th Emperor with 30 rings, while Angelika Mohr was crowned the 7th Empress with 27 rings.
