In mid-August, Greek actor and presenter Giannis Spaliaras announced the end of his four-year relationship with his partner, Angeliki, stating that “the paths of people change.” By early September, Spaliaras revealed a new romantic relationship with Spyridoula Triantou, whom he reportedly met in Athens in April. However, during a later appearance on the program ‘Happy Day’, Spaliaras provided updated details, describing his current connection as something that “resembles a movie.” He identified his partner as Tamta, a 28-year-old psychology graduate from Tbilisi, noting that they are in a long-distance relationship with a 28-year age difference. He mentioned that while he had prepared for solitude following a painful breakup that began in March, he did not expect to enter a new relationship so quickly. In early October, Spaliaras announced plans to visit Georgia to meet Tamta. He noted that the couple met approximately one month prior on a beach in Attica. Spaliaras expressed his intention to meet Tamta’s parents in person, provided they are in the country during his visit. He has already initiated contact with her mother via video call to ensure her family feels secure regarding the person their daughter is seeing in Greece. In early October 2026, Spaliaras traveled to Tbilisi, Georgia, to visit Tamta. Tamta, who studied psychology at the University of Tbilisi, currently works in yoga and holistic therapy. The couple has documented their time together in the city through updates on social media.
