In September 2026, automotive manufacturers implemented various pricing adjustments across different global markets. In Turkey, KGM SsangYong increased prices by approximately 200,000 TL across several models, with the KGM Actyon positioned at the top of its range. Data from the Automotive Industry Association (OSD) and the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) for the first eight months of 2026 reveals a 7.3% decline in total Turkish automotive production, totaling 841,583 units. Despite a 12% decrease in export volume, total automotive export revenue rose by 2.5% to $27.2 billion, with the sector accounting for 17% of Turkey’s total exports. Amidst this general market slowdown, specific brands saw notable growth driven by demand for electric and hybrid models. Jeep increased sales by 183.8%, SsangYong grew by 104.8%, and the domestic brand Togg saw a 45.8% increase, surpassing 30,000 units sold and moving from 12th to 6th place in sales rankings. Concurrently, in Australia, Audi announced price reductions for its 2027 model year Q6 e-tron range, with savings of up to $22,800 aimed at maintaining competitiveness against rivals and leveraging government electric vehicle incentives.
