Technology companies are increasingly bundling Google AI subscriptions with new hardware purchases and educational initiatives. In mid-August 2026, ASUS and Google announced a partnership offering three months of free Google AI subscriptions—either the Google AI Pro or Google AI Plus tier—with the purchase of selected ASUS and ROG Windows laptops. Under this collaboration, customers can access the Google AI Pro plan, which includes 5 TB of cloud storage and developer tools such as ‘Google Antigravity, Jules, and AI Studio,’ or the Google AI Plus plan, which provides 400 GB of storage and creative generation tools. Redemption for these offers is managed through the MyASUS application. In September 2026, the ASUS partnership expanded its reach. In markets including Mexico and the Philippines, the promotion provides access to tools such as ‘Deep Research for structured reporting, Google Flow for audiovisual content, Gemini Notebook, and Gemini Omni.’ Additionally, ASUS announced a specific expansion in India, offering the three-month subscription to both new and existing owners of select ASUS and ROG laptops from the 2025, 2026, and upcoming 2027 lineups. Samsung is providing six months of Google AI Pro for customers who purchase select Galaxy Z Series devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra, and Z Flip8. Concurrently, Google has implemented a six-month Google AI Pro trial for the new Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL. Google is also expanding student-focused offerings through a global back-to-school initiative running until December 31, 2026. Eligible higher education students can verify enrollment via SheerID to receive 12 months of free premium AI services. In the United States, this includes one year of Google AI Pro, featuring Gemini Spark, 5 TB of storage, and integration with Google Docs and Gmail. In over 140 other markets, students can access one year of Google AI Plus, providing Gemini Omni, 400 GB of storage, and doubled usage limits during exam periods. Additionally, the UAE Government’s Artificial Intelligence Office has partnered with Google to provide university students in the UAE with one year of the ‘Google AI Plus’ plan for free through the end of 2026.
