In Al-Dhale, local authorities and preparatory committees have initiated efforts to improve governance, oversight, and service delivery within the governorate. Initially, Governor Major General Ahmed Qaid al-Kubba established a technical team composed of engineering, administrative, and financial specialists. This team was tasked with creating work plans to evaluate service and development projects, verify administrative performance, and ensure the transparent use of public funds. Following this, the preparatory committee for the Al Dhale'e Youth Summit, led by Marwan Al-Shaari, approved further measures to address administrative, security, and social conditions. These measures include forming committees to evaluate local authority performance and transparency in resource management. The committee also planned assessments of basic services and stalled projects, launched a province-wide humanitarian initiative, and established a specialized team for conflict resolution and civilian protection. Additionally, the committee emphasized increasing youth participation in decision-making through merit-based appointments. Building on these directives to enhance financial and institutional discipline, the Executive Office of Al-Dhale Governorate recently conducted a review of financial performance and revenue development. Chaired by First Undersecretary Brigadier General Saleh Ahmed Saleh, the meeting evaluated actual collection rates against approved targets. The office identified shortcomings in collection processes and noted specific offices that failed to meet targets or update revenue data. Brigadier General Saleh Ahmed Saleh instructed directors to fulfill their legal responsibilities to correct performance gaps, noting that evaluation results will be submitted to Governor Al-Kubba for administrative decisions regarding negligence to protect public funds and support essential services.
