Grayscale Head of Research Zach Pandl noted that rising sovereign debt may increase interest in assets with constrained supplies, citing U.S. Treasury data and projected increases in the fiscal deficit. Additionally, the tokenized asset market grew to over $34 billion by May, with tokenized U.S. Treasury products accounting for approximately $16 billion, a movement that is reducing the separation between blockchain systems and conventional financial markets. Regarding market cycles, Grayscale has indicated that Bitcoin may have established a long-term bottom, noting that the current drawdown of roughly 50% is shallower than the 80% declines seen in historical bear markets. While recent price action toward $79,500 suggests a potential turning point driven by ETF inflows and short liquidations, some analysts maintain a cautious outlook, suggesting the possibility of a final price dip toward $44,000 in the fourth quarter. Grayscale CEO Peter Mintzberg has further suggested that the ‘crypto winter’ is nearing its end, citing a shift toward a more mature market structure.
