The Greece U18 Women’s National Water Polo team began their World Championship campaign in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, with an 11-7 victory over the Netherlands. Following a strong defensive performance and a six-goal scoring run, captain Nefeli Krassa was named the match MVP. The team continued their success by defeating Hungary 14-10, securing first place in Group A. After winning all three matches in the group stage, Greece earned 9 points and advanced to the quarter-finals. In the classification match for 5th-8th place, Greece defeated the Netherlands again with a score of 22-9.
