In late July 2026, the General Regional Police Directorate of Thessaly released a detailed summer timetable for its Mobile Police Units operating in the Trikala and Karditsa districts, covering daily patrols of remote villages from 27 July to 2 August with specific morning and evening shifts. In early August, the Hellenic Police published the weekly routes for the next period (3–9 August) for two other regional units: Kastoria and Messinia. The Kastoria unit travelled each day between 08:00–15:00 (or 09:00–15:00), visiting a series of villages, while the Messinia unit operated in the afternoons early in the week and mornings later, covering Kalamata and surrounding villages. On 6 August 2026, the General Regional Police Directorate of Epirus issued its schedule for 10–16 August, listing nightly patrols from 18:00 to 01:00 across numerous Epirus communities such as Boutsaras, Kourenta, Giourganista, Hinka, Polygyrus, Eleftherochori, Psina, Dragosa, Lyggos and others, extending the coordinated summer police presence to the north-western region of Greece. On 8 August 2026, the General Regional Police Directorate of Western Macedonia released patrol schedules for 10–16 August. In the Grevena unit, patrols include evening shifts (18:00–24:00) from Monday to Wednesday and Sunday, and daytime shifts (09:00–15:00) on Thursday and Friday, covering villages such as Megalo Seirini, Kosmati, and Ellato. The Kastoria unit will operate from 15:00 to 22:00 on Monday, and from 09:00 to 15:00 Tuesday through Friday, covering locations including Dispilio, Dendrochori, and Lefki. On 15 August 2026, the General Regional Police Directorates of Epirus and Peloponnese released schedules for the week of 17–23 August. In Epirus, the Ioannina Police Directorate organized two units: one covering evening shifts in areas like Voutsaras and Polygyros, and a second unit patrolling Geroplatanos, Meropi, and Kerassovo during both morning and evening hours.
