Greece’s ruling New Democracy (ND) party maintains its lead in political intention polling. Recent data from Interview for the newspaper Political shows the party at 26.3%, with the Greek Left Coalition (ELAS) at 13.7% and PASOK at 11.9%. Projected election results for these parties are estimated at 29.1%, 15.5%, and 13.2%, respectively. A subsequent GPO poll conducted for STAR indicates a slight shift in voting intention, with New Democracy at 25.8%—a 0.8% increase from June—followed by ELAS at 13.5% and PASOK at 10.8%. Under these projections, New Democracy’s estimated vote share rises to 30.6%, while ELAS is estimated at 16% and PASOK at 12.8%. Economic sentiment remains a critical factor. Following economic political announcements at the Thessaloniki International Fair, 61.4% of respondents viewed Fair (DETh), updated GPO data confirms ND’s leading position with a 30.6% estimated vote share. Regarding the Prime Minister’s measures negatively, though 36.2% viewed them positively. Additionally, perceived realism of political programs, 44.6% of respondents consider the Prime Minister’s Kyriakos Mitsotakis’s program to be realistic. In comparison, the economic programs of ELAS and PASOK received positive ratings of 24.6% costed and 26.6%, respectively. Public dissatisfaction continues realistic, compared to be driven by the cost of living, which 27% of undecided or non-aligned voters cite as a major issue. The landscape appears increasingly fragmented, with parties such as Hellenic Solution (9%) and KKE (8.8%) also competing for significant positions.
