SYRIZA president Alexis Tsipras has intensified his criticism of the Greek government, specifically targeting its management of the climate crisis and energy infrastructure. Tsipras highlighted that burned forest areas in Greece have increased by 330% over the last six years, totaling more than 4.5 million acres. More recently, Tsipras, now leading the Greek Socialist Alliance, has expanded his opposition to include the energy crisis, fuel prices, and the management of the agricultural organization OPKEKE. Speaking at the Olympia Forum, he called for the resignation of Minister Floridis following the decision to refer Christos Triantopoulos to a special court regarding the Tempi train accident investigation, describing the move as a ‘ray of light.’
