In early July 2026 2026, the Public Employment Service (ΔΥΠΑ) launched a scheme to recruit 1,000 unemployed university and technical‑education technical-education graduates on twelve‑month full‑time twelve-month full-time contracts, paying €1 250 €1,250 and €1 200 €1,200 per month respectively. Eligibility required registration in the Digital Unemployed Register, an Individual Action Plan Plan, and a points‑based points-based assessment. The selection process for these 1,000 positions targets individuals aged 25 to 54 and utilizes criteria such as continuous unemployment duration, number of minor children, presence of children with disabilities, professional experience, certified training, postgraduate degrees, and an individual structured interview.
