Greece has initiated various youth football selection processes across the country. As part of the ‘Renaissance Plan’, the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) announced the second phase of Under-15 Girls' football selections. These training sessions are scheduled to take place in Athens from October 16 to October 19, 2026, at the EPO Training Center in Paiania. Players are scheduled to gather on October 16 at the Hotel Athens Coast in Glyfada. Concurrently, regional football associations have organized selection training for youth mixed teams. In Thessaly, the EPS Thessaly association scheduled training for K14 and K16 mixed teams at the Vasdekeio facility. In Kastoria, the EPS Kastoria association has expanded its selection efforts. Following ~~previous~~ calls for athletes born in 2011 and 2012, the association announced specific training sessions for mixed U16 and U14 teams at Dispilio Stadium on October 19, 2026. The U16 pre-selection includes 37 athletes from local clubs such as Panargeiakos, Kastoria 1980, and Rossoneiri, while 11 athletes have been called for the U14 group. Further regional efforts continue with EPS Kastoria calling 58 players for K14 and K16 mixed team training sessions at Dispiliou stadium on November 2, 2026. Additionally, in Achaia, K14 and K16 mixed teams are entering intensive preparation phases, with training scheduled for November 2, 2026, at the Prosfygikon stadium as part of an ongoing evaluation of youth infrastructure.
