Following Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s high-level mission to the United States and Canada in August 2026, the Gujarat government has continued its promotional efforts for the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2027. On 3 2 September 2026, the state held a roadshow at The Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai to strengthen engagement with the global diplomatic and business communities. ~~During the event,~~ Led by Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh ~~Sanghavi participated in an evening interaction with industry leaders and Consul Generals. The program included a presentation on~~ Sanghavi, the ~~2027 summit~~ event featured presentations by the ~~Additional Chief Secretary of the~~ Industries and Mines Department and a welcome address by R. Mukundan, National President of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Patel conducted several one-on-one meetings with prominent corporate ~~figures and industrialists.~~ figures. Notable organizations involved in these discussions included Reliance Industries Ltd, Tata Trusts, Mahindra Group, Godrej Industries, Cipla Ltd, Sun Pharma, and Larsen & Toubro. Additionally, the Piramal Group was engaged during the sessions. Anish Shah, CEO and MD of Mahindra & Mahindra, characterized Gujarat as “one of the country’s most dynamic states,” highlighting the group’s diverse regional presence in sectors such as renewables, hospitality, and tractor manufacturing. Other industry representatives, including Nikhil V. Merchant of Swan Energy, expressed satisfaction with the state’s active policies.
