Palmeiras has extended the contract of captain and defender Gustavo Gómez through December 2030. The 33-year-old Paraguayan defender, who previously had a commitment until 2027, is a significant figure for the club, holding records for the most titles won (13), the highest number of goals by a defender (48), and the most appearances by a foreign player (419).
