Gymnastics competitions are being held in Brazil. In mid-August, Brasília hosted the Brazilian Artistic Gymnastics Championship (CBI) for the youth category at the Nilson Nélson gymnasium. The event featured male and female athletes from various regional clubs, including Esporte Clube Pinheiros and MS Ginástica Artística, competing in mandatory and free series. Later in August, the focus shifted to Belo Horizonte, which hosted the South American Trampoline Gymnastics Championship at the Arena UniBH. This continental competition included individual, synchronized, tumbling, and double mini-trampoline events. The Brazilian national team participated with a young squad intended to gain international experience. In September, the Loterias Caixa Brazilian Youth Artistic Gymnastics Championship commenced in João Pessoa at the Ronaldão Poliesportivo Gymnasium. Organized by the Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation (CBG) and supported by the Paraíba State Secretariat of Youth, Sport, and Leisure (Sejel), the three-day event began on September 11. The competition involves 108 male and female athletes aged 12 to 15, competing in the under-16 and under-18 categories. Participants represent numerous Brazilian states, including Amazonas, Ceará, Distrito Federal, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, and São Paulo. The schedule consists of qualifying rounds on the first day, followed by apparatus finals and award ceremonies on September 12 and 13.
