Haitian authorities, specifically the Croix-des-Bouquets Prosecutor's Office and the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ), have issued a search warrant for Esther Thomas, also known as ‘Nice B’. Thomas is accused of murder, attempted murder, and criminal conspiracy following the death of a woman known as ‘Baby Love’. The DCPJ has described Thomas as ‘dangerous and armed’. As the investigation progressed, social media activity on TikTok suggested that Thomas may have fled to the Dominican Republic, specifically appearing in videos from Santo Domingo Este, though her exact location remains unconfirmed. Additionally, investigators identified Duclnona Darlens, alias ‘Tet Kale’, a member of the ‘400 Mawozo’ gang, as an individual seen in video footage attacking the victim with a machete. In response to concerns regarding her location, the Dominican Republic’s General Directorate of Migration (DGM) has activated intelligence and security protocols to determine if Thomas is in the country. Dominican intelligence units are currently monitoring airports, ports, and border control points in coordination with the Ministry of Defense. However, recent live broadcasts have contradicted earlier social media reports, appearing to show Thomas in Haiti alongside Darlens Duclona. Duclona, who is linked to the ‘400 Mawozo’ gang, has claimed that Thomas is under the gang’s protection within Haiti.
