Health technology companies are securing significant funding to expand diagnostic and monitoring capabilities. Ultrahuman, an India-based firm, raised $70 million in a majority equity financing round to accelerate research in artificial intelligence, sensing, and health algorithms. The company aims to evolve into a “human-computer interface” company by monitoring biological signals such as cardiovascular health, metabolism, and blood biomarkers through its existing ecosystem of smart rings and glucose monitoring. In Europe, Swiss company Aeon has expanded its seed funding to over $14 million following the acquisition of assets from Berlin-based Aware Health. This acquisition includes Aware Health’s regulated diagnostic infrastructure and phlebotomy network, a move intended to accelerate Aeon’s clinical roadmap by approximately two years. Aeon plans to integrate blood diagnostics and MRI scans with AI-driven risk forecasting to provide continuous preventive health services. Additionally, the Melbourne-founded healthtech scaleup Heidi has secured $340 million in new capital to expand its AI platform for medical professionals. This includes a $100 million Series C round led by Blackbird, valuing the company at $900 million, and $240 million in growth financing from General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund. Heidi intends to use the funds for international expansion and to strengthen its presence in the DACH region, focusing on AI-driven clinical documentation and administrative support.
