Health authorities in Brazil and Portugal have issued various safety and supply alerts. In Brazil, Anvisa suspended three clinical trials by Novartis for the experimental cell therapy rapcabtagene autoleucel following the deaths of three participants due to severe reactions related to hemophagocytic syndrome.
